The teacher should be comfortable teaching fundamental and intermediate-level Computer Science concepts, practical sessions, and digital literacy skills. Key ResponsibilitiesTeach computer subjects toClasses 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th . Conduct theory and practical classes in the computer lab. Teach topics like: Basic Computer Operations MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Internet & Email HTML Basics Computer Networks (basics) Fundamentals of programming (Scratch / Python basics) Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practice tasks. Maintain lab discipline and ensure proper use of computer systems. Track student progress and provide necessary support. Conduct periodic tests and assessments. Collaborate with school staff for academic improvement. Ensure safe and ethical use of technology by students. Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT (BCA, B.Sc IT, B.Tech CS preferred). B.Ed. preferred but not mandatory if the candidate is skilled. Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals and school-level ICT topics. Ability to teach both theory and practical portions effectively. Good communication and classroom management skills. Preferred SkillsExperience teaching in a school (CBSE preferred). Basic knowledge of HTML, Python, Scratch, or any introductory programming language. Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart-class systems. Ability to handle different learning levels. Positive attitude and passion for teaching.
