Export merchandier

Buying house based out of Mumbai is looking for Junior export Merchandiser.

Job entails liasoning and coordinating developments and orders with vendors in India and the various teams at the customer.

1.   Strong academic training in textiles and apparel, including knitting, weaving, dying and printing processes.

2.   Knowledge of Microsoft office and some graphic software’s required.

3.   Should be good at excel and math,

4.   Know garment /product costing, including costs of raw materials and making charges etc.

5.   Good interpersonal skills, so that you are able to handle negotiations with both sides.

6.   Should understand incoterms, and export documentation

Responsibilities

1.   Job involves maintaining data, of orders, prices and quantities

2.   You will be enforcing TNA with vendors and customers and ensuring that all deliveries are going out on time.

3.   Will need to monitor quality of submissions going to customer, follow up for approvals

4.   Travel to factories for sourcing and production control.

5.   Maintain records of all sampling and production, with physical samples /swatches.

6.   Sourcing of new materials, trims, ideas, for new business development.

Qualifications

1. Graduate with specialisation in fashion merchandising or garment technology.
2. Or Graduation with experieince in Export merchandising.
3. Ideally should have 2-3 years experience, in Exports but freshers may also apply
