Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect with strong expertise in Python, Pytest, and Appium to design, implement, and lead robust test automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications. This role requires close collaboration with QA engineers, developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure our software consistently meets the highest quality and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Pytest and Appium.

- Define and implement test architecture strategies across UI, API, and performance testing domains.

- Drive continuous integration and automation best practices within CI/CD pipelines.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers and automation developers through code reviews, reusable component creation, and best practices.

- Collaborate with product and development teams to define testing requirements and ensure optimal test coverage across all layers.

- Lead root cause analysis of test failures, implementing preventive and corrective measures.

- Research, evaluate, and integrate modern testing tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.

- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track test effectiveness, defect trends, and product quality KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience in test automation architecture with Python, Pytest, and Appium.

- Strong understanding of UI, API, performance, and mobile testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
