Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka


Looking for QA Engineer with 5+ years of work experience on building and maintaining the scripts for test automation for both backend and frontend applications. Candidate should be well versed with quality assurance techniques , methodologies and best practices for test automation. Candidate should have relevant experience working on test cases development, test suite development and test execution . Retail experience will be an added advantage.


Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications
  • Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in testing
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure that defects are properly identified and resolved.
  • Execute test plans for backend and frontend application.
  • Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Come up with different scenarios, and strategies to validate the functionalities and ensure test coverage for the functionalities .
  • Ensure the data quality & accuracy in the system by executing automated test.
  • Identify and deploy automation solutions based on changing project needs


Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in automation using Selenium or other equivalent tools.
  • Experience with Fiddler, JMeter, Postman or other tools.
  • Experience working in AWS Cloud.
  • Hands on experience with Automation , configuring the test pipeline .
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with handling high volumes of data.
  • Strong experience in one programming language like Python or Java .
  • Nice to have test suite configuration using Jenkin.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Information Science Engineering from a reputed institution.
