Job Title:VMware Horizon View L2 VDI EngineerLocation:Bangalore Experience:5+ Years Budget:10 LPA Primary Skill Requirement VMware Horizon (Omnissa) – Mandatory and Primary Skill Candidates must have strong hands-on experience working specifically asL2 VDI Engineers, not L1. Only profiles with relevant L2 experience in VMware Horizon administration will be considered. Key Responsibilities Manage and administerVMware Horizon / Omnissa VDI environment, including: Connection Servers DEM (Dynamic Environment Manager) Desktop Pools & RDS Farms Operate and maintainvCenter, ESXi hosts, and vSAN clusters. Performupgrades, patching, backup, and license management. HandleVDI master image creation, optimization, recompose/refresh, and packaging. Troubleshoot and resolveL2-level end-user VDI issues, escalations, and infrastructure incidents. Configure and troubleshoot: HA, DRS, vMotion vSphere virtual networking ManageSSL, STS, and VMCA certificatesacross VDI infrastructure. Prepare and deliverdaily/weekly VDI health reportsand participate inDR drills. Ensure compliance withsecurity policies, hardening guidelines, and best practices. ManageITSM tickets (Incident, Change, Problem)and ensure closure as per SLA. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and documentation. Requirements VMware / Omnissa Certified Professional(Mandatory). Minimum5 years of hands-on experience in VDI administration. Strong expertise in: VMware Horizon (Primary Skill) vCenter & ESXi vSAN VDI image engineering ExcellentL2-level troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, and documentation capabilities. Good communication and ability to work with global teams.
