Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable applications, working with microservices, and deploying solutions on cloud-native environments.This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while driving innovation.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.- Work on data persistence layers using Hibernate/JPA with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.- Develop event-driven applications leveraging Kafka and GCP Pub/Sub.- Deploy, manage, and monitor services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions.- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.Must-Have Skills : - Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA- RESTful API development and Microservices architecture- Messaging systems: Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub- Hands-on experience with GCP services and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)- Proficiency with relational databases: MySQL or PostgreSQL- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentGood-to-Have Skills :- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)- Familiarity with containerization using Docker- Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, or Azure)What We Offer : - Hybrid working model (3 days from office in Noida)- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-native applications- Collaborative and fast-paced work environment- Professional growth with exposure to modern technologies and cloud solutionsIf you are passionate about building robust cloud-native applications and have hands-on GCP experience, wed love to hear from you (ref:hirist.tech)
