Location: RemoteType: Freelance / ContractOverview:Vasman Solutions is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to implement a highly secure and scalable infrastructure for our cybersecurity SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Google Cloud architecture, containerized deployments, networking, and database management, with a strong focus on security and scalability following zero-trust principles.Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Google Cloud services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL). - Configure and secure VPC networks, private subnets, firewalls, and load balancers for multi-zone and multi-region availability. - Deploy and manage PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL) with replication, backup, and private access configuration. - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging. - Ensure compliance with security best practices, least privilege access, and zero-trust architecture. - Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Collaborate with the application development team to support integration and testing. - Document the deployment architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.Requirements- Proven hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong working knowledge of GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL. - Experience with VPC design, routing, IAM, and networking configurations. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.). - Understanding of containerization, Docker images, and artifact management. - Knowledge of identity and access controls, service accounts, and workload identity. - Experience implementing security controls, encryption, and network isolation. - Familiarity with other cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is an advantage. - Minimum 4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Contract Details- Type: Freelance / Project-based - Engagement: Remote - Duration: Short-term project with possible extension based on performanceApplications will be accepted only via LinkedIn. dont call us.
