Job Description – SAP SD S/4 HANA Consultant

Position: SAP SD S/4 HANA Consultant

Location: India (Hybrid/Onsite – as per project)

Experience: 8 Years (Relevant)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in S/4 HANA to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Sales & Distribution solutions that align with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end implementation experience, strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, and deep functional expertise in S/4 HANA innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP SD module configuration, implementation, and support in S/4 HANA environments.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle.
  • Configure and support processes related to:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Pricing & Discounts
  • Billing & Invoicing
  • Shipping & Transportation
  • Credit & Debit Notes
  • Output Determination
  • Integration expertise with FI (Revenue recognition, AR), MM (procurement, deliveries), PP, and WM.
  • Work on S/4 HANA specific functionalities – Business Partner, Credit Management, FIORI Apps, Settlement Management, and Revenue Accounting (RAR).
  • Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams for custom developments.
  • Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, training documents, and conduct UAT.
  • Provide post-go-live support and enhancements.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of SAP SD experience with at least 2–3 S/4 HANA implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash cycle in SAP.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
  • Good understanding of data migration (LTMC, LSMW) and FIORI applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing skills.

Good to Have

  • SAP Certification in SD or S/4 HANA Sales.
  • Experience in integration with SAP FICO, MM, and PP.
  • Exposure to global rollouts and working in onsite-offshore delivery model.
