Job Title: Java Developer – Security Vulnerability Remediation with APIGEE skillsLocation: TCS Chennai / PAN IndiaExperience Level: >2 YearsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a strong understanding of Spring Boot, and hands-on experience (or exposure) with APIGEE(Add-on) and Chef(Add-on), to join our security-focused development team. The primary responsibility will be to remediate reported security vulnerabilities identified through scanning tools, work closely with application teams, and deliver timely patches and fixes to secure enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities:Analyse and remediate vulnerabilities reported by security scanning tools (e.g., OXSecurity, Qualys, Blackduck, etc.).Collaborate with application development teams to implement security fixes and coordinate patch releases.Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and compliant code deployments.Enhance existing Java / Spring Boot applications to address security weaknesses such as injection flaws, broken authentication, misconfigurations, etc.Support API security and governance using APIGEE as an API gateway solution.Use Chef (as an add-on skill) for automating patch deployment and configuration changes, if required.Maintain proper documentation of security fixes and track remediation progress.Participate in vulnerability triage meetings and provide technical guidance on secure coding best practicesRequired Skills:Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.Familiarity with source control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and patch production-level code efficiently.Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.Understanding of web application security concepts (add-on)Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and interpreting scan reports(add-on).Exposure to APIGEE for API gateway management and security policies(add-on)Preferred/Additional Skills (Add-ons):Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Working knowledge of APIGEE configuration, proxies, and security policiesFamiliarity with Chef for configuration management and automated patching.Understanding of CI/CD toolsMandatory Checks:Immediate to 15 days joiners preferredCandidate should be willing to join in C2H model and then convert to direct payroll after BGV clearanceCandidate should have 12+3 years of regular education
