Purpose of the Role

Lead - Factory Digitalization will drive the digital transformation initiatives within the Manufacturing operations. This role will be to partner the business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of factory digitalization solutions. Understands internal customers and their needs, assesses opportunities, challenges, and weaknesses facing the internal business community and serves internal client needs in keeping pace with the dynamics of the business. Actively finds new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements in the business processes.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key staff members to create strategic business plans for the Factory Digitization & Digitalization.
  • Create a digital transformation roadmap, oversee the deployment of digital tools w IT team, and lead a team of digital transformation business specialists.
  • Be the architect in designing Digital solutions to the need of Business that is scalable & world class.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers.
  • Create shared vision of their respective solutions and ease decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.
  • Understand and define solution requirements and communicate those to the development team(s).
  • Communicate status through operations reviews to Leadership.
  • Continuous process Improvement Projects.
  • Find, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs in the IOT and Factory digitalization space.
  • End to end manage the overall Program management.
  • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals.
  • Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization.
  • Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors.
  • Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering


Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including IIoT, AI, ML, and automation.
