Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Testing specialist to drive the testing efforts for the migration of SAP ERP HCM Payroll to S/4HANA on RISE with SAP. The role involves managing test strategies, coordinating test activities, and ensuring quality assurance across the payroll migration project. Expertise in SAP testing methodologies and tools, experience with HCM Payroll, HANA-optimized environments, test automation, interface testing, and ABAP testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for the RISE/S4 HANA HCM Payroll migration project, incorporating both manual and automated testing approaches.

- Coordinate and manage all testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) specific to HCM Payroll processes.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test requirements for payroll modules and ensure alignment with project objectives.

- Oversee the execution of test cases and scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements related to payroll schemas, rules, and compliance.

- Lead the testing of HCM Payroll modules (PA, PY, PT, OM) in S/4HANA and RISE environments, ensuring system performance, accuracy, and compliance.

- Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness for payroll processes.

- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, working closely with development and technical teams to address payroll-specific issues.

- Ensure the testing environment is set up and maintained according to project needs and timelines.

- Conduct interface testing to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems (e.g., benefits providers, time-tracking tools) using Web Services, IDocs, and RFCs.

- Provide regular test status updates and reports to project leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience in SAP testing methodologies and tools, including test management software (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, JIRA with Zephyr).

- Strong understanding of SAP HCM Payroll modules or any other Payroll systems and their testing requirements.

- Experience in testing HANA-optimized environments and cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., RISE with SAP).

- Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Tricentis) for SAP environments, specifically for payroll testing.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues related to payroll processes.

- Experience with interface testing, including Web Services, IDocs, and RFCs.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
