US Taxation Specialist

Overview:- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Taxation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in US taxation laws applicable to non-US financial institutions, compliance, and reporting, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory Manage and oversee 1042-S and 1042 reporting, as well as 1099 reporting.- Implement and monitor FATCA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Establish and manage Qualified Intermediary (QI) compliance functions.- Provide guidance on KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.- Analyze and report on corporate actions within the financial services domain.- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes.- Stay updated on regulatory changes in US taxation and advise on necessary adjustments to company policies.- Manage and oversee 1042-S and 1042 reporting, as well as 1099 reporting.- Implement and monitor FATCA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Establish and manage Qualified Intermediary (QI) compliance functions.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree (preferred).- Proven experience in a financial institution, particularly in compliance or tax functions.- In-depth knowledge of US taxation laws as they pertain to non-US financial institutions.- Hands-on experience with FATCA implementation and QI compliance.- Familiarity with financial services processes, including KYC procedures and corporate actions.- Bachelor's degree (preferred).- Proven experience in a financial institution, particularly in compliance or tax functions.- In-depth knowledge of US taxation laws as they pertain to non-US financial institutions.- Hands-on experience with FATCA implementation and QI compliance.- Familiarity with financial services processes, including KYC procedures and corporate actions.
