Job Title: 4G/5G Cellular Certification Testing & Automation Testing Engineer. Location:Bangalore Experience:4 to 8 Years Join Time:Immediate to 30 Days. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled4G/5G Cellular Certification Testing Engineerwith experience in bothmanual and automation testingfor cellular protocols, along with hands-on expertise in certification processes such asPTCRB, GCF, FCC , andcarrier certifications(e.g., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile). The candidate will be responsible for leading device testing, automation framework development, and managing end-to-end certification cycles. Key Responsibilities: Performmanual and automated testingof 4G/5G protocol, RF, and application-level functionalities. Lead and execute certification testing processes includingPTCRB, GCF, FCC , andcarrier certifications(AT&T, Verizon, TMO, etc.). Design and implementautomation test scripts and frameworksfor cellular device testing (using Python or other scripting languages). Conduct regression, stability, IOT (Interoperability Testing), and field testing using test tools and automation setups. Debug and analyze logs usingQXDM, QCAT, QTRACE, Wireshark , and similar tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, certification labs, and carrier teams to address and resolve test issues. Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, defect logs, and certification reports. Stay up to date with the latest3GPP standards , carrier requirements, and certification processes. Required Skills & Experience: 4 to 8 yearsof hands-on experience in 4G/5G mobile device testing and certification. Experience withPTCRB, GCF, FCC , and at least oneUS carrier certification process . Strong understanding ofLTE, LTE-A, 5G NR (NSA/SA), VoLTE, VoNRtechnologies. Proficiency in using test tools such asAnritsu, Keysight, R&S, Spirent , etc. Experience withautomation testingframeworks and scripting languages (preferablyPython , but Shell, Perl, or JavaScript also valued). Hands-on experience with log analysis tools ( QXDM, QCAT, etc. ) and debugging protocol/RF issues. Good understanding of3GPP protocol stack , network signaling, and call flows. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with majorchipset vendors(Qualcomm, MediaTek, etc.). Prior work ontest automation frameworksfor embedded/mobile device testing. Knowledge oftest case management toolsandCI/CD tools(Jenkins, Git)
