Roles & Business Partner

1. Building high trust relationships to key business partners and influencing their decision making to maximize financial performance

2. Working collaboratively with business owners including executive team members to provide subject matter expertise and financial advice to assists planning and decision making

3. Create mechanisms for non-technical stakeholders to self-serve data

4. Accurately capture and translate the requirements of the stakeholders into technical requests that can be served using financial data

Reporting and Analysis

1. Assisting in the preparation of executive review materials to support the leadership team in decision making discussions

2. Supporting and coordinating the preparation of monthly financials, analysis, as well as, rolling forecasts. Responsible for review of the content in the monthly financial package.

3. Delivering monthly reviews to key stakeholders regarding risks, opportunities, and gap resolution.

4. Working with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financials and to streamline month end processes.

5. Analyzing and delivering financials to support executive, Audit Committee and Board reports.

6. Understand how data flows through our financial platforms and know the right data to use for analysis, and establish a source of truth to support Coordinating of all financial planning and analysis processes including forecasting, actual analysis, budgeting, strategic planning & decision making.

2. Supporting the delivery of the financial goals, taking personal responsibility for achieving budget.

3. Reviewing information and meet with departments to understand key business drivers (qualitative and quantitative), assumptions, opportunities, and risks.

Systems and Process Optimization

1. Supporting the FP&A transformation to improve financial support to the business, through process efficiency, transparency & visibility to data & analysis.

2. Investigating opportunities for productivity improvements and work with business owner to initiate and influence change.

3. Leading and/or assisting in the implementation of new processes or process improvements.

4. Look for opportunities to simplify and automate redundant processes

Management Accounting

1. Supporting the development of the allocation methodology in tracking resources and expenses across the various business lines.

Accounting advisory

1. Performing due diligence on all inputs and recommending areas of adjustments.

2. Participating in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications & Skills

- Designation or degree in finance, accounting, related field.

- Advanced Excel Modelling Skills

- Experience with Odoo is an asset

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to communicate with senior management, including executives, at their level

- 5+ years of experience in finance or related analytical field
