Responsive - Quality Engineer Lead - API Testing

About The Role:Responsive is looking for a Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.You will lead the QE team, implement automation strategies, and enhance testing processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.What Youll Be Doing?:- Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and manage the QE team, setting goals and ensuring alignment with business objectives.- Test Planning & Execution: Define QE strategies, oversee test case design, manage test execution (functional, regression, non-functional, exploratory), and ensure risk-based coverage.- Automation & Performance Testing: Develop and maintain automation frameworks for functional, API, and performance testing (Cypress, Karate, JMeter).- Drive test automation integration in CI/CD pipelines.- Defect Management & Process Improvement: Oversee defect tracking, conduct root cause analysis, and enhance testing processes using best practices.- Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to establish quality goals, optimize testing strategies, and participate in Agile ceremoniesWhat Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Experience :- 8-12 years of experience in software quality engineering, with 2-3 years of leadership experience.Skills, Qualifications & Ability :- Strong expertise in test automation, API testing, performance testing, and quality metrics.- Proficiency in Cypress, Karate, JMeter, and API testing tools like Postman.- Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration and cloud-based testing.- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.- Working knowledge of SaaS products is a plus.Why Join Us ?- Impact-Driven Work: Build innovative solutions that redefine strategic response management.- Collaborative Environment: Work with a passionate team of technologists, designers, and product leaders.- Career Growth: Be part of a company that values learning and professional development.- Competitive Benefits: We offer comprehensive compensation and benefits to support our employees.- Trusted by Industry Leaders: Be part of a product that is trusted by world-leading organizations.- Cutting-Edge Technology: Work on AI-driven solutions, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale data processing.- Diverse and Inclusive Workplace: Collaborate with a global team that values different perspectives and ideas (ref:hirist.tech)
