Role : Backend Developer (Node.js & MongoDB)

Job Description :

We are hiring a Backend Developer to architect, build & implement the backend of a cutting-edge travel booking platform. Devops/AWS knowledge is also required for deployment. The role focuses on developing and maintaining a scalable backend using Node.js and MongoDB, while coordinating with a third-party company for frontend design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and robust backend services using Node.js and Express.

- Develop and maintain a high-performance MongoDB database, ensuring efficient data storage, indexing, replication, and scalability.

- Build a secure, scalable backend system capable of handling high traffic and complex workflows.

- Design scalable APIs to distribute our product data across platforms and integrate external APIs to display partner products seamlessly.

- Coordinate with the external frontend team to ensure seamless integration of APIs and frontend designs, hence working knowledge of React is preferred.

- Implement robust authentication (JWT/OAuth) and security practices to safeguard user data.

- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for APIs and backend architecture.

- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and scalability.

- Work on AWS services , CI/CD piplelines (Lambda, S3, RDS) for deployment.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience with Node.js and MongoDB in backend development.

- Working knowledge of ReactJS

- Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL) and database optimization.

- Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Prior experience in travel-tech platforms or booking systems
