Republic World, India's leading news publisher is in expansion mode and looking forward to hiring DevOps candidates with experience in the GCP.


Mandatory Qualification: At least 2 years of experience working on GCP.


Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and be responsible for what you build - no micromanagement
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering, and support teams.
  • Work with A players (some of the best talents in the country), and expedite your learning curve and career growth
  • Make in India and build for the world at the scale of 500M active users, which no other internet company in the country has seen
  • Learn together from different teams on how they scale to millions of users and billions of messages.


Skill Requirements :

  • Candidates having exposure as enterprise architects in a cloud computing environment, or a customer-facing role would be preferred
  • Proven experience in handling extensive infrastructure and distributed system
  • Hands-on in JavaScript-related technologies and frameworks
  • Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, Python and Shell Scripting is essential
  • Hands-on experience in Spark, Hive, Hadoop, or Presto.
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch, and MongoDB is a plus
  • Liaison with Product Management, DevOps, QA, and other teams
  • Performance management, Sprint management, Roadmap, Hiring, Onboarding, Mentoring, Costing, Documenting
  • Awareness of Secure Development process and practices


Local candidates who can join on an immediate basis would be preferred

  • Candidates whose notice period is between 0 to 30 days will be preferred.
  • This is a work-from-office opportunity and 6 days working from the office.
