Key responsibilities :

- Monitor and manage network and security infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Forcepoint DLP & Proxy, Checkpoint Firewalls, and IP Sec VPN (Site to Site and Remote Access VPN).

- Administer and support Cisco routing and switching environments, including Cisco Meraki and Aruba WiFi devices and wireless controllers.

- Manage and support Cisco ISE Network Access Control (NAC) for authentication and policy enforcement.

- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and monitoring of Trend Micro IPS, ISP P2P, and MPLS connections.

- Utilize PRTG to monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues.

- Maintain and troubleshoot F5 WAF & LTM, ensuring application availability and performance.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement network solutions that meet organizational needs.

- Document processes, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Respond to and manage service desk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring thorough follow up and resolution.

- Operate within a shift-based schedule covering six days a week, ensuring support and availability for critical network operations.

- Provide remote support during week offs and handle critical incidents during off-hours, ensuring network uptime and quick resolution of urgent issues.

- Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and problems, contributing to knowledge bases and ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.

- Work collaboratively with team members and escalate issues to senior staff when necessary to ensure efficient operation and service delivery.

- Implement network changes as per approved change requests, following established procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

- Analyse recurring network issues to identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences, improving overall network stability.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 3-6 years of experience in network and security operations.

- Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Forcepoint DLP & Proxy, Checkpoint Firewalls, and IP Sec VPN.

- Solid understanding and experience with Cisco routing, switching, Meraki, and Aruba WiFi services.

- Experience with Cisco ISE NAC and Trend Micro IPS.

- Knowledge of ISP P2P & MPLS technologies and their applications in enterprise environments.

- Familiarity with PRTG or similar network monitoring tools.

- Practical experience with F5 WAF & LTM is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.

- Availability to work shifts and on call as required.
