Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quarry Engineer to join our team. The Quarry Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing quarry operations to ensure efficient production and adherence to safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining or civil engineering, with experience in quarry management.

Key Responsibilities:

Quarry Operations Management:

• Plan, manage, and oversee quarry operations to ensure efficient extraction and processing of materials.
• Monitor production rates and adjust processes and equipment as needed to achieve desired outputs.
• Coordinate with drilling and blasting teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.

Resource and Equipment Management:

• Manage the use of quarry equipment and resources efficiently.
• Ensure regular maintenance and proper functioning of quarry equipment.
• Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and materials.

Quality Control:

• Monitor the quality of materials extracted and processed.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure materials meet required specifications.
• Address any issues related to material quality promptly.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align quarry operations with project requirements.
• Develop and implement quarry plans and schedules.
• Track progress and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of quarry operations, including production data, equipment maintenance, and safety reports.
• Prepare and present reports on quarry performance and project status to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in quarry operations or a related field.
• Experience with project management is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quarrying processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quarry management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
