Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs specifically for SAP HANA environments.

- Design and implement HANA database views using Core Data Services (CDS).

- Optimize existing ABAP programs to take full advantage of HANA's in-memory capabilities.

- Conduct performance tuning and debugging of ABAP applications.

- Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements.

- Build interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using various APIs.

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during implementation.

- Participate in application architecture and design discussions.

- Implement data migration strategies to transition legacy systems to HANA.

- Regularly update technical documentation and user manuals.

- Stay informed on SAP HANA best practices and enhancements in the ABAP environment.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed.

- Support and resolve production issues related to HANA databases.

- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to deliver integrated solutions.

- Involve in training sessions for end-users and junior developers.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in ABAP development, specifically in SAP environments.

- Proven experience with SAP HANA and its functionalities.

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.

- Experience with data modeling and performance tuning in HANA.

- Knowledge of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or others is a plus.

- Experience with HANA Studio and SAP Web IDE.

- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Experience in Agile development methodologies is preferred.

- Certifications in ABAP or HANA are advantageous.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
