Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Procurement : Electrical & Electronics in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company’s goal at the Prantij, Gujarat, Battery Pack Manufacturing Location.Experience: 8–15 YearsRoles & Responsibilities:- Conducting supplier evaluation, capability and capacity assessment including on-site quality and technical process audits to ensure conformance to Company's Supplier Quality System requirements. - Analyzing audit results to develop, prioritize and execute corrective actions and supplier development action plans to continually improve supplier performance. - Leading and driving supplier quality activities such as APQP, PPAP, CAPA including continuous improvement techniques to minimize process variation and achieve process control at supplier - Significantly contributing on technical quality issues collaborating with R&D, Quality & suppliers. - Providing technical knowledge p and supplier quality engineering support on NPD and VA/VE projects. - Problem identification and resolution of systemic supplier quality issues to deliver stakeholder expectations and enhance end-user customer satisfaction. - Providing support for Supply Chain Management activities in the form of Program Management and facilitation of commercial information. - Providing support in establishing and implementing standardized quality best practices, processes, procedures within supply chain function and across suppliers. - Leads the suppliers in the application of advanced quality tools and problem-solving methodologies while provides support as a technical mentor and coach on the Quality Leadership Council. - Working closely with Quality teams to maintain and update supplier performance scorecards, supplier audit procedures and policies, approved supplier listing and supplier risk assessments. - Utilizing internal functional customer feedback as an input to drive continuous improvements across supply chain. - Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors. - Core Skill- 16949(IATF 16949), ISO 9001-2015, Audits (Supplier, System, Process & other customer specific Audit, QMS, 7 QC Tools, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, CAPA, QRQC, NPD - Expertise in review & approval of tool design for plastic mould, casting die, stamping die, assembly fixture for metal fabrication etc.Mandatory Skills:16949(IATF 16949), ISO 9001-2015, Audits (Supplier, System, Process & other customer specific Audit, QMS, 7 QC Tools, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, CAPA, QRQC, NPDCore Skill:- Supplier Development/DFM/Supplier assessment - Experience to deal in processes like wire harness assembly, electrical component assembly, PCB assembly.Desired Skills:- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Problem solving skill - Communication skill - Supplier relationship - Should be able to work at supplier location also during development.
