Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)Location: [Chennai / Tamil Nadu / Bangalore]Type: Full-Time | Leadership RoleRole Overview:As CTO, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company’s technology, building and leading the engineering team, and ensuring the successful delivery and scalability of our Tech operation, you will work closely with product, design, operations, and growth teams to ensure technology supports and drives business goals. As we move from MVP to scale, we are looking for a visionary and hands-on CTO to lead our technology function, drive product innovation, and help us create a platform that delivers impact at scale.Key Responsibilities:- Technology Strategy: - Define and own the technical vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. - Platform Development: - Lead architecture and development of a scalable, secure, and high-performance marketplace platform (web and mobile). - Team Building: - Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team. Build strong processes for collaboration, deployment, QA, and continuous improvement. - Product Collaboration: - Work closely with product managers and designers to turn vision into reality. Ensure timely delivery and iteration on features and enhancements. - Infrastructure & Security: - Own DevOps, cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud/ GCP), and ensure robust security and compliance practices. - Innovation: - Evaluate and integrate new technologies that improve the product experience or provide competitive advantage. - Data & Analytics: - Build the foundation for data collection, user behaviour tracking, and actionable insights.Required Skills & Experience:- 8+ years in software development with 3+ years in a senior tech leadership role. - UX/UI, AI, Python, Next.js, LLaMA, Software Architecture , like Web Development end to end - Proven experience building and scaling a marketplace or platform product (e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, gig economy). - Deep understanding of backend and frontend technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, React, Vue, etc.) - Experience with microservices, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure. - Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). - Strong communication and leadership skills — able to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.Nice to Have:- Previous startup or founding experience.What We Offer:- Opportunity to shape a high-impact product from the ground up. - Competitive salary and performance bonus . - A collaborative, ownership-driven culture. - Flexibility in work environment and schedule.
