Job Description: Python Developer with Kafka, Microservices, and Cloud Experience

Position: Python Developer

Experience: 7 to 13 years

Work Mode: Hybrid

Locations: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with expertise in Kafka, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, a keen understanding of scalable systems, and experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Python applications.

Kafka Integration: Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions.

Microservices Architecture: Design and build microservices that are efficient, reusable, and scalable.

Cloud Technologies: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.

Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, and conduct code reviews.

Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and implement improvements.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 7-13 years in software development with a focus on Python.

Kafka: Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines.

Microservices: Strong understanding and experience in developing microservices-based architectures.

Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with one or more cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Database Skills: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Version Control: Proficient with Git and version control best practices.

Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills:

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.

Security: Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles.

Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
