The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the operating systems and firmware for our embedded devices, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and reliability.Key Responsibilities: - Develop, optimize, and maintain device operating systems including Android, Linux, and other embedded firmware. - Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure smooth integration of OS components with device hardware. - Implement device drivers, middleware, and peripheral support to enhance device functionality. - Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Contribute to the design and development of custom OS features to meet product requirements. - Ensure security, stability, and scalability of the device OS. - Document technical specifications, procedures, and system configurations. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices.Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in developing and maintaining Android OS and Linux-based embedded systems. - Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, drivers, and firmware development. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java. - Experience with kernel modifications, device driver development, and debugging tools. - Knowledge of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART). - Familiarity with build systems, version control, and continuous integration. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Preferred Skills: - Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). - Knowledge of security best practices in embedded systems. - Familiarity with Android HAL development. - Experience with cloud integration and IoT platforms.If you find this opportunity interesting kindly share your below details (Mandatory) Total Experience Experience in Operating System – Experience in Android – Experience in Embedded System - Experience in Linux - Current CTC- Expected CTC- Notice period- Current Location-If you had gone through any interviews in Synechron before?
