Role: Quantitative Researcher

Location: Gurugram, HR, India

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models to forecast movements of liquid assets, utilizing comprehensive financial data and a wide variety of trading signals
• Data Processing: Parse and prepare datasets for future alpha (strategy) development, ensuring high standards of quality and relevance
• Research Implementation: Explore and apply cutting-edge academic research in quantitative finance to improve model accuracy and efficiency
• Collaboration: Partner with experienced quantitative researchers to conduct experiments and test hypotheses through simulations

Requirements

• Educational Background: Degree in computer science or engineering from a Tier 1 (IIT/NIT/BITS/DTU) institute in India.
• Passion for the Field: Strong enthusiasm for machine learning and quantitative finance.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Programming Proficiency: Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial accounting is advantageous.
• Experience: 2 to 15 years of relevant industry experience.
