This position is very challenging, and you will work on several projects, under a tight schedule, and in a dynamic environment.


What will you be doing?

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in the laboratory.
  • Ensuring the laboratory is a safe and effective place to work, and that the test equipment is well-maintained and properly used.
  • Set up and maintain electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power Analyzers, power supplies, Signal generators etc.
  • Assist engineers and researchers in conducting experiments, tests, and evaluations of electronic circuits and systems.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems to identify and resolve issues or malfunctions.
  • Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to schematic diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Assist in the design, prototyping, and fabrication of electronic prototypes and experimental setups.
  • Keep accurate records of test results, equipment maintenance, and inventory of electronic components and materials.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support research and development projects and meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and validation efforts.
  • Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to schematic diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Assist in the design, prototyping, and fabrication of electronic prototypes and experimental setups.


Requirements:

  • ITI or Diploma certificates in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 8+ Years of Previous experience working in an electronics laboratory or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and tools for measurement, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
  • Experience with soldering and PCB assembly techniques.
  • Experience repairing and reworking complex PCBAs (SMT rework down to SOT, 0402 and other package sizes)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
