Roles and Responsibilities :

- Real-Time Processing: Design and operate scalable Spark and Kafka applications for batch and streaming workloads.

- Microservices & Containerization: Develop Java-based microservices and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.

- Database Management: Model, query, and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Production-Ready Code: Write clean, testable, and maintainable Java code; conduct peer reviews and debugging.

- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Monitoring & Alerting (Preferred): Implement Prometheus/Grafana dashboards and alerts for system health.

- AI-Assisted Development (Plus): Leverage GitHub Copilot for prompt-driven coding efficiency.

Must-Have Skills :

- Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience in DW concepts, modeling, and optimization.

- Big Data & Streaming: Proficient with Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.

- Table Stores: Experience with OpenTable or equivalent open-source table technologies.

- Databases: Strong SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) skills.

- Java & Microservices: Expert-level Java programming and microservices architecture.

- Kubernetes: Proven ability to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications.

- Software Craftsmanship: Rigorous coding standards, testing, and version control (Git).

Nice-to-Have :

- Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana

- AI-Assisted Coding: GitHub Copilot
