Strong knowledge of network communication protocols and computer vision technologies. Program and control 6DOF robots, integrating sensors and actuators for optimal performance. Maintain and integrate robotic hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation. Provide technical support for robotic systems at the customer site and troubleshooting to address technical challenges using DOE methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot innovative end effectors. Demonstrated understanding of CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, and Creo. This is a client-facing role, so must have excellent communication skills.Preferred Experience Robotics Nice to Have SemiconductorSpecific Responsibilities Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to design, build, test, and troubleshoot new end effectors for a variety of applications on Lam robotic systems. Design and conduct test experiments to resolve complex technical problems, implementing DOE principles. Software testing: Regression and unit testing. Prototype, test, and iterate on mechanical, electrical, and software components to optimize performance and reliability. Create detailed design documentation, including schematics, CAD models, and technical specifications. Generate clear and concise presentations and data-driven reports to communicate engineering solutions and provide clear technical recommendations. Take strong ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring proper accountability from design to release of solutions. Acquire and apply basic engineering theories, methods, and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems (e.g., Eight Disciplines “8D” Problem Solving). Act as a liaison for cross-functional projects across multiple organizations. Engage in robotic path programming and computer vision. Train and lead other engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel. Research and identify emerging technologies and methodologies in mechatronics and robotics.Who We’re Looking For At least a BS in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a similar field. 6–15 years of work experience, depending on the role. Background in Robotics. Creative thinking, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities. Ability to complete projects and learn required skills with minimal guidance. Solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in a production setting. Previous experience in individual project management. 30% travel – must be available with a 24-to-48-hour notice.
