Roles & Responsibilities: Electronics Hardware Design

Requirement Analysis

System Architecture Finalization

Division of features among electronic modules in a system

Interface & Connectivity analysis among modules in a system

Selection of COTs Hardware.

Power consumption budgeting & Distribution

Preparation of detail schematics and Wiring Diagrams.

Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM) and Hardware Design Document.

Obsolescence Analysis.

Preparation of System Assembly drawing

Preparation of detailed Cable diagrams

Preparation of System/Subsystem Level Test procedure, Qualification Test Procedure.

Assembly of module & Cables

Testing of Electronic modules & cables

Engineering Prototype Integration and performance check

Incorporating Design Changes raised during development testing.

Product Qualification Testing.

Preferred: Experience with Avionics Systems such as Displays, Communication Systems and control units.

Skills / Expertise:

Industrial Automation.

Communication/Interface protocols: ARINC429, RS422, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0/3.0, PCI / PCIE and other interfaces.

Video Interfaces: STANAG3350, DVI

Selection of COTs PCI/PCIe based cards for Discrete, Analog and Serial Communication.
