The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the engineering team, managing software development projects, and ensuring successful project integration. The manager will also lead daily stand-ups, facilitate team collaboration, review code, and ensure alignment with project goals.Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including performance management and career growth. 7+ years of hands-on experience working directly within software engineering teams. 3+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems, including applying design patterns to new and existing systems. 5+ years of experience leading the definition, development, and delivery of multi-tier web services. Strong knowledge of engineering best practices across the full software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including: Coding standards Code reviews Source control management Build and release processes Testing and certification Live-site operations Bachelors of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or Information Technology.Preferred Qualifications Proven ability to communicate effectively with users, cross-functional technical teams, and senior leadership to: Gather and clarify requirements Define software product features Describe technical designs and architecture Contribute to long-term product strategy Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching software engineers to improve skills and productivity. Demonstrated success in building high-performance engineering teams and fostering a collaborative culture. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. Experience in integration projects or leading cross-team initiatives is a plus.
