NB "We are recruiting for a scheduled commercial bank"Job Title: Head - Mid and Prime EnterprisesDepartment: MSMELocation: Thrissur, KeralaMinimum Ticket Size:- 10 cr aboveJob SummaryThe Head of Mid and Prime Enterprises will be a strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives, policies, and support systems specifically targeted at fostering the growth, competitiveness, and transition of Medium Enterprises (Mid) and the most competitive and growth-oriented (Prime) MSMEs. This role requires a blend of policy expertise, industry knowledge, stakeholder management, and a focus on driving economic impact through scaling up these key enterprises. Key Responsibilities1. Strategy and Policy Development:• Lead the formulation of strategic plans and policies to accelerate the growth and global competitiveness of Mid and Prime enterprises within the region/nation.• Analyze economic trends, market demands, and regulatory landscapes to identify key challenges and opportunities for this specific segment.• Design and champion specialized schemes related to technology adoption, export promotion, large-scale credit access, and infrastructure development for Mid and Prime enterprises.2. Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:• Act as the primary interface between the MSME Department and industry associations, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and large corporations (for supply chain integration) focused on Mid and Prime enterprises.• Represent the Department in national and international forums to advocate for the needs and interests of the target segment.• Establish and manage high-level partnerships for technology transfer, investment, and market access.3. Business Development and Scaling: • Identify high-potential Mid and Prime enterprises and create targeted intervention strategies to facilitate their scaling, including support for mergers, acquisitions, and capital market access.• Promote adoption of best-in-class management practices, quality certification, and digital transformation initiatives.• Facilitate integration of Mid and Prime enterprises into global and domestic value chains, particularly with public sector undertakings and large private firms. 4. Team Leadership and Management:• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of specialists dedicated to the Mid and Prime enterprise segment.• Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and client-centricity within the team.• Manage the budget and resources allocated for the Mid and Prime enterprise division. Qualifications and Experience Education:• Degree/PG Experience:• Minimum of 20+ years of professional experience, with at least [5-7] years in a senior leadership or strategic role in banking/NBFC.• Proven track record in developing and executing large-scale, impact-driven programs for the Medium/SME segment.
