Python Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.


In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for our cutting-edge devices.


You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous and efficient testing processes.


Responsibilities :


- Write robust and maintainable automated test scripts using Python for device testing across various platforms and environments.


- Utilize Python libraries and frameworks to create comprehensive test suites.


- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.


- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable test frameworks.


- Develop and maintain test environments, including hardware and software setups.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies.


- Possess strong knowledge of device communication protocols and methodologies.


- Develop and implement automation solutions for device interactions, including control, data acquisition, and analysis.


- Deep understanding of Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies, including advertisement, connection, and data transfer.


- Experience in testing and debugging Bluetooth-enabled devices.


- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges. Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.


- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.


- Participate in daily calls with customers to provide updates, discuss progress, and address any concerns.


- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication.


Qualifications :


Experience :


- 6+ years of experience in software development and test automation.


Proficiency in Python :


- Strong coding skills and experience with Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest). C++


Experience :


- Experience writing code in C++ is a significant plus.


- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing).


- Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting.


- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for devices.


- In-depth knowledge of device communication protocols and automation techniques.


- Strong knowledge of Bluetooth and BLE technologies, including advertisement, connection, and data transfer.


- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium).


- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).


- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.


Good to Have :


- Experience with Rust programming language.


- Experience with PyQt for GUI development.


- Experience with pytest for unit and functional testing.
