Job Title:Director – Faculty of EngineeringLocation:Jodhpur (occasional travel as required) Experience:Minimum 15+ years in Engineering Education Qualification:B.Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D. (preferably in Computer Science / Electronics) Industry:Higher Education / Research About the Role: Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology, Jodhpur, seeks a dynamic academic leader to head its Faculty of Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive academic excellence, research growth, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee academic, administrative, and research functions of the Faculty of Engineering. Develop and update curriculum, monitor teaching quality, and promote student discipline and mentorship. Guide faculty in pedagogy, research, and performance evaluation. Strengthen collaboration with industry and research organizations. Identify and pursue opportunities for externally funded R&D and innovation projects. Ensure effective use of lab and research infrastructure for R&D and consultancy activities. Maintain records, oversee faculty appraisals, and ensure operational efficiency.
