Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and research-savvy member to join our team. As a Research Intern, you will be responsible for updating, maintaining, and refining our research database, and working on research requirements for ongoing campaigns while supporting the deal execution team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent research skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of the startup fundraising ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Work on research requirements for ongoing campaigns, providing valuable insights and data to ensure success of the projects.
- Utilize effective research techniques to gather comprehensive and relevant information about investment funds from reliable sources such as official websites, , CrunchBase, and other industry-specific platforms.
- Update and maintain data in our internal database accurately and efficiently. You must ensure the quality and integrity of the data by verifying the information across multiple sources.
- Maintain effective communication with the team to address any queries/ clarifications regarding research data and to share insights and knowledge regarding the industry
- Support deal execution team to efficiently run campaigns
Requirements:
- Preferable familiarity with the startup fundraising ecosystem and private equity.
- 0.5 - 1 year of prior private equity research experience is highly desirable.
- Independent and self-motivated with strong time management skills, delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- Proficient in online research, sourcing information from diverse and reliable sources.
- Proactive problem-solver, focused on improving data quality with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, coupled with proficiency in spreadsheet software. (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
- Ability to work remotely on process-oriented tasks as part of a remote team.
- Ownership of a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
