Overview:


As a Blue Yonder- JDA Consultant specializing in Warehouse Management System (WMS), you will play a key role in leading the implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support of the JDA (Blue Yonder) WMS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of the WMS into the organization's supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Implementation and Configuration:
  • Lead and oversee the successful implementation of the Blue Yonder JDA WMS platform, including system setup, configuration, and testing.
  • Customize the WMS to align with the specific requirements of the organization, incorporating considerations such as warehouse layout, workflows, and business rules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
  • User Training and Documentation:
  • Develop comprehensive training materials and lead training sessions for end-users, ensuring proficiency in utilizing the Blue Yonder JDA WMS effectively.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures, to support ongoing system usage.
  • Integration and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to seamlessly integrate the JDA WMS with other systems, including ERP,WES, TMS, and inventory management systems.
  • Work closely with warehouse operations teams to understand their requirements, ensuring alignment with WMS capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay informed about the latest features and updates released by JDA (Blue Yonder) for the WMS platform.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, aiming to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in JDA (Blue Yonder) Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, encompassing inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics processes.
  • Proficient in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with the integration of WMS with other systems (ERP, Automation system like WES , etc.) is a significant plus.
  • JDA WMS certification(s) preferred.
  • Cycle labs exposure will be preferred
