Role Description-

We are seeking a seasoned E-Commerce Manager to spearhead our online retail strategy and oversee our marketplace operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience with direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands or companies, showcasing proven expertise in managing product listings, maintaining e-commerce site performance, and fostering relationships with e-commerce managers and vendors. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual who will drive growth, optimize product presentation, and ensure our products are effectively represented across all e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities-

  •  Formulate and execute strategic plans to drive online sales, enhance customer experience, and improve the overall performance of our e-commerce channels.
  •  Oversee and optimize product listings on various online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart), ensuring accurate and compelling descriptions, pricing, and imagery.
  • Manage and monitor all e-commerce sites where our products are registered, ensuring consistent and high-quality presentation with timely updates.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and growth across e-commerce platforms, including exploring new marketplaces and optimizing existing channels for better performance.
  •  Maintain and cultivate relationships with e-commerce managers, marketplace representatives, and third-party vendors. Negotiate terms and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Regularly review and update product listings across all e-commerce sites to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with marketing strategies. Provide insights and reports to drive strategic decisions.
  • Enhance the online shopping experience by ensuring a seamless user journey and improving website functionality.
  •  Oversee the e-commerce budget, including allocations for advertising, technology, and operational costs, optimizing expenditure for maximum return.
  • Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep our e-commerce strategies innovative and effective.
  • Oversee inventory planning and stock management, including warehouse stock planning across different states to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize disruptions in supply chain.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.


Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management, with at least 2 years specifically in a D2C brand or company. Proven track record in managing product listings and overseeing multiple e-commerce platforms.


Skills: Expertise in inventory planning, stock management, and warehouse stock planning.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools.

Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
