About the Role:

We are looking for a Workday Functional Consultant to join an innovative and high-performing team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in ERP/CRM systems, who is passionate about delivering solutions that improve business processes and drive performance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to mentor and manage a team while taking ownership of end-to-end solution delivery across Workday implementations, AMS support, and beyond.


As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will:

  • Analyze, design, and optimize ERP/CRM applications within Workday HCM and other modules
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants and developers
  • Take ownership of functional design, documentation, and solution deployment
  • Review and enhance technical designs, ensuring compliance with best practices
  • Oversee the build and deployment processes, resolving issues promptly
  • Drive continuous learning by attending technology conferences and sharing knowledge
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer communication, ensuring high satisfaction


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Development & Design: Innovate and select the best technical options for development and optimization of Workday applications. Ensure solutions align with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team, set goals, and provide constructive feedback. Ensure ongoing team development and upskilling.
  • Collaboration with Clients: Engage with stakeholders to validate requirements, present design options, and drive successful implementation outcomes.
  • Performance Optimization: Focus on enhancing system efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Documentation & Quality: Create functional specifications, deployment guides, and conduct peer reviews to maintain high standards in deliverables.
  • Knowledge Management: Create training materials and contribute to the knowledge-sharing process. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.


Skills & Experience:


  • Workday Expertise: Extensive experience with Workday HCM modules, including Business Process Security, Workday Security, and HCM configurations.
  • Total work experience - 9-12 years
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with integrating ERP/CRM systems using APIs (SOAP/REST) and proficiency in technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile practices and the ability to manage projects within Scrum frameworks.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team of consultants and developers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify issues and deliver SMART solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and seamless execution.
