Job Description: E-commerce Marketplace Associate


Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Marketplace Associate to manage day-to-day operations across various online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality listings, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, monitoring account performance, and resolving operational challenges. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Listings & Catalog Management:

Create, update, and maintain product listings across e-commerce platforms.

Fix errors and ensure all listings comply with platform guidelines and standards.

2. Orders & Inventory Management:

Manage order processing and oversee after-sales support with quality checks.

Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking situations, ensuring optimal stock management.

3. Shipment Planning:

Plan and coordinate timely, cost-effective shipping strategies.

Monitor shipments, including FC inbounds, and promptly resolve any delivery issues.

4. Performance Tracking:

Track and analyze platform metrics such as sales, customer feedback, and account health.

Handle buyer/seller messages effectively to maintain strong customer relationships.

Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to stakeholders.

5. Problem-Solving:

Address customer concerns, returns, and platform disputes efficiently.

Collaborate with marketplace support teams to resolve account, listing, or operational issues.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in managing e-commerce operations or marketplace accounts. Proficiency in working with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proactive approach to problem-solving with a customer-first mindset.
