Job Title: Maintenance Executive (Mechanical / E&I)
Department: Maintenance
Location: (Dhule, Maharashtra)
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary:

The Maintenance Executive (Mechanical / E&I) is responsible for executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and electrical/instrumentation systems to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The role includes supervising maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with other departments for smooth plant operations.



Requirements Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical and E&I equipment.

  • Monitor equipment health through predictive tools and sensors.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and downtime analysis.

2. Breakdown Maintenance
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly and troubleshoot mechanical and E&I faults.

  • Diagnose faults in motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors, valves, pumps, compressors, etc.

  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for major repairs or spares.

3. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with EHS standards.

  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

  • Ensure lockout-tagout (LOTO) and permit systems are followed.

4. Equipment Installation & Commissioning
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.

  • Verify equipment calibration and compliance with design specifications.

5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, spare part usage, and service reports.

  • Assist in budgeting for maintenance activities and spare part inventory.

  • Report to senior management on asset condition, performance, and risks.

Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation systems

  • Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, motors, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation

  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) skills

  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and maintenance manuals

  • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

  • Familiarity with ISO standards, TPM, 5S, and lean maintenance practices

Qualifications:
  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering

  • Experience: 2–5 years (entry-mid level); 5–10 years (mid-senior level), depending on role

  • Industry experience in manufacturing, process plants, pharma, FMCG, oil & gas , or related sectors preferred
