The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, particularly BigQuery and DataProc (PySpark), along with good problem-solving and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services.- Work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, query optimization, and analytics.- Develop and manage data processing workflows using DataProc (PySpark).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.- Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across platforms.- Troubleshoot and optimize existing pipelines for efficiency and scalability.Required Skills :- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering.- Strong expertise in GCP BigQuery and DataProc (PySpark).- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based ETL design.- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL.Good to Have :- Experience working with Informatica or other ETL tools.- Exposure to GCP Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and other GCP components.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
