Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resource Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting our mission-driven team. 


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention efforts.

- Handle employee relations, addressing issues and resolving conflicts.

- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.

- Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.

- Promote a healthy, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a startup or research environment.

- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
