Title: Head Risk and Credit OperationsExperience Required: 10+ years in NBFC retail lending, with significant exposure to secured lending portfoliosRole Overview:We are looking for a seasoned credit professional to lead our secured and unsecured lending vertical. The role involves building and managing the end-to-end credit function for secured products such as loan against property(M-LAP), Construction loans ,AHL and Business loans. The incumbent will be responsible for shaping credit policies, credit processes, setting up partner lender configuration and driving day to day credit operations.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and manage the risk and credit operation function across products and geographies.- Frame and implement credit policies, processes, and risk parameters in line with Product requirements and co lending partner policies.- Oversee underwriting, sanction, and approval of secured and unsecured loans as per credit policy guidelines.- Work closely with sales heads in training and credit policy alignment for manging conversion and quality approvals.- Engage with lending partners on loan applications reviews and approvals.- Drive weekly and monthly steering calls and meetings with internal and external stakeholders to drive portfolio disbursement and quality.- Continuously monitor portfolio performance, including delinquency trends, NPAs, and recovery actions.- Lead periodic policy reviews, data-driven portfolio analysis, and early warning monitoring.- Ownership and Review exception handling process for loan applications.sDesired Profile:- Qualification: CA / MBA / equivalent professional degree.- Experience: 10 - 15 years in credit and risk functions with at least 5 years handling secured lending portfolios.- Exposure to MSME, MLAP, AHL and BL. - Strong understanding of collateral valuation, legal documentation, and recovery mechanisms.- Sound knowledge of RBI/NBFC guidelines related to secured lending.- Excellent analytical skills, decision-making ability, and integrity in credit judgement.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.What We Offer:- A leadership platform to shape and scale the secured credit portfolio.- Opportunity to work directly with senior management and contribute to strategic business growth.- Freedom to innovate and strengthen credit frameworks.- Competitive compensation and performance-linked rewards.
