Position: Junior Accountant (Accounts Receivable)

Location: Baner, Pune

Department: Finance & Accounts


Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, focusing on inventory accounting, sales invoices generation, customer account reconciliation, and GST compliances. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, and MS Suite.


Key Responsibilities:


1) Accounts Receivable Management:

#Assist in the timely generation and management of sales invoices.

#Ensure that all invoices are accurate and sent to customers promptly.

#Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on overdue payments.


2) Inventory Accounting:

#Support inventory tracking and accounting by recording inventory-related transactions.

#Perform regular checks to ensure inventory levels and financial records align.


3) Customer Account Reconciliation:

#Perform monthly reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

#Address discrepancies in accounts and work with the sales and customer service teams for resolution.


4) GST Compliance:

#Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.

#Maintain accurate records of all GST-related transactions, ensuring they align with legal requirements.


5) General Accounting:

#Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks.

#Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

#Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.


Skills-


1) Proficiency in Tally, Zoho, and MS Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

2) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

3) Understanding of GST-related processes and compliance is essential.

4) High attention to detail and accuracy in accounting work.

5) Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

6) Ability to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues effectively.
