**Job Title:** Technical Business Analyst### **Role Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient **Technical Business Analyst** to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.This role requires a blend of business acumen, analytical rigor, and hands-on technical skills in SQL, data modeling, and analytics tools to support enterprise-level solutions across domains such as Market Research, Biotechnology, FinTech, and Utilities.---### **Key Responsibilities:**- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance). - Translate complex business needs into clear, traceable, and testable technical specifications for development teams. - Design and maintain data models, workflows, and process diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar. - Perform in-depth **data analysis** using **SQL** to extract, validate, and interpret data from enterprise databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake). - Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks. - Develop and maintain **Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations** to support business insights and executive decision-making. - Support **data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance** processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs. - Work closely with QA teams to design test cases and validate system behavior against business rules and data logic. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and maintain backlog grooming activities. - Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (e.g., **ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, CCPA**) when handling sensitive or regulated data. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-backed solutions.---### **Required Skills & Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience as a **Business Analyst**, with at least 2 years focused on **technical analysis** in enterprise environments. - Proven experience in **SQL** (advanced querying, joins, window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning). - Hands-on experience with **data analytics tools**: Power BI, Tableau, or similar. - Experience with **ETL processes**, data warehousing, and data lake concepts (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks). - Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum** methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps). - Strong understanding of **data modeling**, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), and database design principles. - Experience working with **cloud platforms** (Azure, AWS, GCP) is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.---### **Preferred Qualifications:**- Certification in **Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA)** or **Data Analytics (Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate)**. - Experience with **Python** for data manipulation and automation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). - Exposure to **machine learning** concepts and use of AI/ML models in business contexts (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection). - Experience in regulated industries such as **BFS, Healthcare, Energy, or Market Research**.If you're interested in applying or would like to discuss how this role aligns with your background, please reach out to our Talent Acquisition team or connect with the relevant Program Manager from the provided project details
