With five global delivery centers and 2000+ employees, we provide the intimacy of a boutique consultancy with the capabilities of a large IT services firm.Role: AS400/iSeries EngineerExperience: 5 Years -10 YearsLocation: HyderabadKey Responsibilities- Manage application development in an ERP environment on IBM iSeries (AS400). - Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications. - Ensure smooth integration and functionality of IBM i systems and related products. - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in large IBM i on Power Systems environments. - Coordinate with different levels of personnel across the organization for project execution. - Conduct research into system issues and evaluate new products or solutions. - Communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly manner to stakeholders. - Maintain security and compliance for iSeries systems and applications. - Support rotational shifts and ensure timely delivery of projects.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 5+ years in application development management within ERP environments (IBM iSeries/AS400).- Technical Expertise:IBM i (AS400), RPG, CLP, SQL, DB2/400. - iSeries security and OS up to IBM i v7.4. - Data replication tools (e.g., Vision Solutions MIMIX, OMS/ODS). - Familiarity with 3rd-party vendor utilities.Protocols & Standards: Working knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Soft Skills: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.- Additional: Ability to work in rotational shifts; immediate to 15-day notice period.Why choose GSPANN“We GSPANNians” are at the heart of the technology that we pioneer.
