Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consumer lending Portfolio Management – developing, & implementing Collection Strategy, Pricing Analytics for retail point of sale business
  • Data management skills - ability to write/ analyze complex and efficient queries in SQL, in depth knowledge of python/R/SAS (data science) to pull and analyze data
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques (CHAID, cluster analysis, regression, etc.) & software such as Python, SQL to develop credit segmentation, predictive models and/or strategies to support business decisions
  • Adept in interacting and collaborating with business partners like Operations, Servicing team to drive the goal lower losses
  • Use Quantitative analysis to evaluate customer lifetime value, pricing sensitivity, ROI/IRR, unit profitability.
  • Analyzing complex & unstructured data and building statistical model & scorecard, both machine learning and logistic model to be used in credit underwriting, collection, portfolio analytics, etc.
  • In depth knowledge of Credit P&L; build robust roll rate, vintage & portfolio loss forecast model
  • Good understanding of Collection Operations like capacity planning, best time to call, and managing collection vendors and collectors
  • Experience in Loan Servicing platform/software (Nortridge Loan System) and dialer system (Genesys Cloud)
  • Skillful in Power BI Reporting, producing & understanding metrics like roll rate, cure rate, right-party-contact, promise-to-pay, delinquency bucket/aging, etc...


Experience and Education

  • Preferred Bachelor’s/master’s degree in related field (Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering or Business Degree)
  • 8+ years consumer credit/retail portfolio and collection management, data analyst, and modeling experience
  • 5+ years of experience in account servicing, collection, policies to manage portfolio
  • 3+ years of experience in data modeling/decision science
  • In depth knowledge of building, and implementing machine learning, and logistic models scorecard
  • Experience extracting and manipulating data using multiple database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, SAS, etc.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as Python, SAS, R, SPSS, STATA, etc.
  • Pricing and Collection strategies - Significant experience in building A/B Testing, Pricing and digital initiatives, deploying in production for business
  • Proven experience of completing projects demanding timelines and high visibility
  • Adept in producing Reports & MIS suiting the needs of Business, Partners, Investors, Executives
  • Extraordinary presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in financial services, credit risk management, banking regulations like FDCPA, SCRA, FCRA, TILA, etc
