We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable database solutions using PostgreSQL. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and other developers to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management for our applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance and secure database schemas using PostgreSQL.

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.

- Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques.

- Implement robust data security measures, including access control, encryption, and auditing.

- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data maintenance tasks.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.

- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PostgreSQL and database management.

- Document database design decisions and maintain clear and concise documentation.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in database development and administration.

- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization techniques, indexing strategies, and data types.

- Experience with database design principles and normalization techniques.

- Strong understanding of SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries.

- Familiarity with database security concepts and best practices.

- Experience with version control systems like Git (a plus).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Passion for building efficient and scalable database solutions.
