Key Responsibilities:

  1. CAM Planning & Preparation

    • Convert CAD designs into CAM-ready files suitable for CNC, 3D printing, or casting machines.

    • Select appropriate tools, materials, and machine settings for efficient production.

    • Prepare job sheets and process documentation for manufacturing.

  2. Production Coordination

    • Collaborate with Design, CAD, and Production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.

    • Monitor production schedules and machine availability to plan workflow.

    • Suggest modifications to designs for better manufacturability and efficiency.

  3. Quality & Accuracy

    • Ensure CAM files adhere to design specifications, tolerances, and jewellery standards.

    • Perform simulation checks and trial runs to avoid production errors.

    • Identify and report potential issues before production starts.

  4. Process Optimization & Reporting

    • Optimize CAM processes to reduce material wastage and improve machine utilization.

    • Maintain records of CAM files, production schedules, and completed jobs.

    • Prepare reports on production efficiency, bottlenecks, and suggestions for improvement.

  5. Technical Support & Training

    • Provide technical support to junior CAM operators or CNC operators.

    • Stay updated with new CAM software, tools, and jewellery manufacturing technologies.



Requirements Candidate Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in CAM planning in jewelry manufacturing.

  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Matrix, Rhino, JewelCAD, ZBrush, 3Design).

  • Understanding of CNC, 3D printing, and casting processes in jewelry production.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
