Description :Domain : Azure Cloud - Data Engineering - Enterprise SQLAre you a data expert who loves building scalable, high-performance systems on the cloud?An industry-leading financial services organization is looking for a Senior SQL Developer with deep expertise in Azure data solutions, SQL optimization, and modern data warehousing.If youre ready to take ownership of complex database architectures and lead end-to-end Azure data integration projects this role is for youRole Overview :As a Senior SQL Developer, youll design, build, and optimize advanced data systems leveraging Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake.Youll collaborate with data engineers and architects to drive performance tuning, query optimization, and cloud scalability across mission-critical applications.What Youll Do :- Develop, refine, and maintain complex SQL / PL-SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.- Optimize performance through indexing, partitioning, and database tuning.- Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure tools.- Architect scalable data models and warehousing solutions.- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing databases.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud database performance continuously.What You Bring :- 6- 8 years of strong SQL / PL-SQL development experience- Hands-on expertise with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake- Deep understanding of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and data modelling- Strong exposure to PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server- Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams (ref:hirist.tech)
