The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on automation, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.Key Responsibilities: ● Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks. ● Design and implement automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications. ● Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans. ● Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug tracking system. ● Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software still performs after a change. ● Monitor automated test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports on findings. ● Continuously improve automation frameworks to support scalability, stability, and reliability. ● Participate in code reviews to ensure automation standards are being met. ● Provide input on QA best practices, tools, and frameworks to optimize the testing process. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and improve release processes.Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation (4+ years preferred). ● Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. ● Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. ● Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo. ● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. ● Experience testing APIs and using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. ● Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. ● Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. ● Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. ● ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
